As a Level IV maternal designated facility, our experienced team of OB hospitalists and Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists are available 24/7 to provide comprehensive care to hospitalized pregnant and postpartum patients and their unborn babies, as well as those arriving with an obstetrical emergency.

As the first provider of interventional cardiology services in the Westover Hills community, we can positively impact outcomes with more timely interventions for patients with coronary artery syndrome by lowering our door-to-balloon time for patients needing surgical care. Cardiac Services at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – Westover Hills are individually designed for each patient and are supervised by a cardiologist and managed by cardiac rehabilitation professionals.

The ICU allows visiting anytime other than the hours of 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. and 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The Intermediate Care Unit is located on the fourth floor of CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - Westover Hills. Every room is private and roomy enough for visitors, however we only allow two to three adults in a given time period. The length of visit is determined by the nursing team in conjunction with the patient and family to meet the needs of the individual patient.

CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - Westover Hills Imaging Center features the new Siemens SOMATOM® Sensation 64 for better diagnosis and provides finer quality images while reducing x-ray dose to the patient. Its innovative design provides optimal patient comfort by eliminating the closed-in feeling which patients sometimes associate with CT scanning.

Our Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit staff cares for a wide range of babies who need additional intervention, but typically don’t have life-threatening conditions.

Our specially trained, certified NICU nurses undergo rigorous one-on-one training with neonatal nurses. If needed, newborns with medically complicated diagnoses have direct access to the highly trained Emergency Transport Team so they can receive the highest level of NICU care, at The Children's Hospital of San Antonio.
