Your child and their therapist will develop a plan to help your child meet their goals. Pelvic Floor Therapy 

We offer specialized physical therapy for pelvic floor rehabilitation, abdominal conditions, and chronic pain caused by pelvic floor muscle dysfunctions in adolescents and children.

Many adult women experience some form of pelvic floor dysfunction. The primary causes of pelvic floor dysfunction include pregnancy, obesity and menopause. Pregnancy and the changes pregnancy makes to the pelvic floor cause postpartum pelvic floor dysfunction, not the method of delivery, so you may develop postpartum pelvic floor dysfunction whether you deliver by caesarian or vaginally.

Pelvic floor muscle rehabilitation can include treatment for:

  • Urinary incontinence
  • Bowel incontinence
  • Constipation
  • Diastasis recti abdominus
  • Frequent urination or an urgent need to go to the bathroom
  • Pain during intercourse
  • Sacroiliac-joint dysfunction

Kids Team Pediatric Therapy 
Our pediatric outpatient care facility provides high quality therapy services for children exhibiting developmental difficulties, concerns, or medical conditions interfering with particular functions or typical development including orthopedic injuries, sports injuries, sensory processing, hearing loss and feeding issues.

Our team includes physical, occupational and speech therapists with over 70 years of pediatric experience, specializing in the evaluation and treatment of children birth to 18 years of age.

Special Services:

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) – the therapist begin in the NICU to evaluate the infant’s positioning and feeding needs at the earliest intervention window to enhance future development.

Post NICU Follow-up Clinic – allows the neonatologist and therapists to identify potential developmental delays in at-risk infants. The only clinic of its kind in our area, this comprehensive, multi-disciplinary clinic allows for the identification of developmental issues as well as initiation of interventions.

Wheelchair and Seating Clinic – combines the experience and expertise of a team of rehabilitation technicians and therapists to provide a functional mobility system for patients, regardless of age.
