Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

CHRISTUS Southeast Texas St. Elizabeth is fully committed to providing your critically ill newborn with the most compassionate and extensive health care. Our 14 – bed Level III NICU offers premature babies the opportunity to grow and develop under the care of our highly trained, neonatal staff, 24 hours a day. Since 1977, our Level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) has been caring for the babies of Southeast Texas. With the addition of the NICU transport team, we’re able to care for even more.

We understand families often do not expect to need intensive care when planning for the birth of their newborn. That is why we make it a priority to provide state of the art Neonatal care in the region’s largest and only Level III NICU. Exceptional newborn care is provided with prompt availability to cardiology, radiology, ultrasound services and access to a spectrum of pediatric subspecialties.

Children's Miracle Network Hospital

CHRISTUS Southeast Texas St. Elizabeth is part of the Children's Miracle Network, which raises funds and awareness for 170 member hospitals that provide 32 million treatments each year to kids across the U.S. and Canada. 100% of funds raised through Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in Southeast Texas benefit sick and injured kids at CHRISTUS Southeast Texas St. Elizabeth and Jasper Memorial Hospital.
