Do you work with the family medicine residency and/or have opportunities to teach?
We work closely with the family medicine residency, and help teach residents about sports injuries and procedures in our MSK clinic. Additionally, fellows lecture the residents as well as the UIW medical students throughout the year on a variety of topics.
What’s it like living in San Antonio?
San Antonio is the 7th largest city in the US, but still gives you the small-town feel. There is so much to do from sports to cultural events and everything in between.
How many fellows do you take per year?
We accept two fellows each year.
What specialties do you accept in your fellowship?
We accept applicants who are in family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine.
